Hi, I’m a white woman with shoulder-length brown hair. Black full-sleeved shirt with gray buttons. Gray background. I’m Stephanie Clark (SC), RDI co-coordinator.
(JL) We are thrilled to announce that RDI will offer classes again after being on hold for three years due to Covid. We will start again with our 6th cohort group!
(SC) Classes start in January 2023 and end in April 2024. There are 11 classes with different topics and in-person attendance is required for all classes. Classes are on Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 9 am to 3 pm. Our teachers are primarily Deaf Interpreters who work in New England and are familiar with local interpreting resources and philosophy.
(JL) Should the weather be an issue, classes will be switched to zoom. Classes are in the Worcester, Mass area. Specific locations will be announced. To apply, look at our website: www.roadtodeafinterpreting.com under the “Application” category. There is no fee to apply.
(SC) The deadline to apply is by November 11th. We will let you know by November 18th if you’re accepted into the program. Look at our website for program costs for classes, who our Teachers are, and our schedule with specific dates. If you have any questions, do email us at roadtodeafinterpreting@gmail.com
(JL) Again, check out the website for more information.
(SC) We are excited to have you join us. Yay! It’s time again!
(JL) Good luck!
