2023-2024 RDI Cohort Training Series
RDI is proud to announce that the 6th Road to Deaf Interpreting (RDI) training series applications has been closed and full.
This program prepares Deaf, DeafDisabled, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and Late-Deafened people to become Deaf Interpreters. This is a small cohort of 20 participants primarily taught by teachers who are Deaf Interpreters.
There are 11 weekends with intensive courses/topics to prepare new Deaf Interpreters to enter the interpreting field with skills, resources, and knowledge. Each course in the series includes in-class lectures, discussions, hands-on activities, and assignments.
The first course starts in January 2023 with summer and winter mentorship/internship opportunities and ends in April 2024.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and ACETs are sponsored by MassRID for the courses.

All classes are held in person in Worcester, Massachusetts.

RDI is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Priority will go to applicants that serve marginalized communities.
